RSB concerts at the Konzerthaus

The 24/25 season offers you an exciting and varied concert programme with 14 RSB concerts at the Konzerthaus Berlin.

RSB Principal Conductor Vladimir Jurowski will conduct four concerts at the Konzerthaus, with Adam Fischer, David Afkham, Vasily Petrenko and Nicholas Carter also joining the programme. Gijs Leenaars will be a guest with the Rundfunkchor Berlin, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary. Frank Strobel will perform a film concert of “Henry V” from 1944. In addition, two female conductors, Ruth Reinhardt and Marta Gardolinska (RSB debut), will take to the podium of the RSB and the conductors and composers Matthias Pintscher and Martin Fröst will each present their own works in their concerts.

The instrumental soloists on stage are Alina Ibragimova (violin), Bomsori Kim (violin), Christian Tetzlaff (violin), Yefim Bronfman (piano), Vivi Vassileva (percussion), the piano ensemble MultiPiano and Cédric Tiberghien (piano).

The RSB welcomes Mirjam Mesak (soprano), Emily d’Angelo (alto), Christopher Sokolowski (tenor), Christof Fischesser (bass), Véronique Gens (mezzo-soprano), the Rundfunkchor Berlin and the children’s choir of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden as vocal soloists.

You can look forward to works by Brahms, Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Bacewicz, Szymanowski, Haydn, Mahler, Bartók, Schmidt, Rasch, Beethoven, Walton, Wagner, Britten, Ravel, Rimsky-Korsakov, Dvorák, Corigliano, Martinu, Elgar, Moscheles, Mundry, Vaughan Williams, Verdi, Takemitsu, Pintscher, Mozart, Fröst and Hillborg.
