Rehearsal visits for daycare groups
Daycare groups (recommended for children 5 years and older) can visit RSB rehearsals at the Haus des Rundfunks and get to know the musicians at work. To ensure that the young audience is not overwhelmed by the wealth of impressions, members of the orchestra take time before the rehearsal to prepare the children in small groups for the subsequent orchestra rehearsal, which lasts about 30 minutes.

Rapauke makes music
Music to listen to and participate in for children from 3 to 6 years of age
For years, the series “Rapauke macht Musik” has been delighting the RSB’s youngest listeners. Each of the one-hour concerts is packed with music, visual stimuli, stories and movement games. Chamber music works from various epochs as well as arrangements for chamber ensemble from the RSB itself are performed.
Knowledge about the instruments to be heard or about important musical terms is not neglected either. And towards the end of each concert, the children build a small rhythm instrument that they can take home later.
