Rehearsal visits

for day-care groups

Day-care groups (recommended for children from the age of 5) can visit RSB rehearsals at the Haus des Rundfunks and get to know the musicians at work. To ensure that the young audience is not overwhelmed by the wealth of impressions, members of the orchestra take time before the rehearsal to prepare the children in small groups for the subsequent 30-minute orchestra rehearsal.

for school classes

Apart from the moderated rehearsals, there is also the possibility of visiting the orchestra in its rehearsal hall in the Masurenallee. Beforehand, teachers can invite individual RSB members to their schools, where they can present their instruments, talk about their daily work and prepare the class for the rehearsal.

Students learn about the most important genres of classical music in our moderated rehearsals: Symphony, Solo Concerto, Symphonic Poem. In conversation with the conductor, orchestra musician or soloist, visitors learn exciting facts about the works and gain a deep insight into the rehearsal work of the orchestra. Afterwards, the complete work can be heard. Duration: approx. 90 minutes, participation free of charge, registration required:
