Marketing

In the area of marketing, the FSJKers also take on many tasks that do not require much time, but are very important for the general flow of the daily work.

These include proofreading print media, such as monthly flyers, posters or advertisements for various online platforms or magazines.

They take care of the registrations for the moderated rehearsals, manage and sort them and keep an overview of the numbers of registrations. They also notify the winners of the newsletter prize draws and create the notices for the digital programme booklet that are distributed in the Konzerthaus and the Philharmonie for the concerts.

Another task is to send the concert posters to the Philharmonie and the Konzerthaus so that the staff on site can display them. This is usually done by courier. The FSJKers are also responsible for other jobs for the couriers, e.g. when it is a matter of bringing many seasonal brochures from one place to another.

FSJKers also do some additional work, e.g. creating streaming analyses and overviews of the various social media platforms on which the RSB is represented.

In addition, the FSJKers sometimes attend orchestra rehearsals or other events and take photos for social media or the RSB website.

They also attend every concert, are involved in setting up and dismantling the RSB information stand in the foyers of the various venues and look after it, together with the ladies of the Friends of the RSB.

They also go to various universities with other colleagues from the communications department to get more young adults into the concert.

The biggest task in the marketing department is to help look after the RSB website. This includes adding photos and biographies of the performers, posting photos of individual concerts and creating the individual concert pages and the programme for the new concert season.
