Built in 1889 and flourishing during the ball nights of the 1920s, the glamorous atmosphere of the Ballhaus Wedding is unrivalled. Reopened in 2022, the cultural centre has been a regular venue for chamber concerts by the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin since the 2023/24 season.

In the nostalgic ballroom, velvet-upholstered sofas and chairs will once again invite you to take in the varied concert programmes and dream yourself back to the era of glittering balls in the 2024/25 season. In January, the RSB's "Samtblech" ensemble will fill the Ballhaus with brass sounds from Brahms to the Beatles. In March, the audience is then invited to listen to works by Ysaye and Chausson, brought to life by a string ensemble and piano. The chamber concerts in the Ballhaus will conclude with a sonic journey from La Boca to Paris, where listeners can follow in the footsteps of the tango thanks to compositions by Villodo, Piazzolla, Gardel and Bauzá, among others.
