Wolfram Tessmer

The baritone Wolfram Teßmer first studied church music at the church music school in Greifswald. He completed his vocal training at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music with Kammersänger Prof. Wolfgang Hellmich. He was a member of the Lied classes of Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau and Wolfram Rieger, attended master classes with Peter Schreier and Max van Egmond, among others, and was a scholarship holder of the Komische Oper Berlin.

Wolfram Teßmer has been a permanent member of the Rundfunkchor Berlin since 2004. As a soloist, he has worked with renowned conductors and orchestras such as the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester under Ingo Metzmacher, the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester under Marek Janowski and the Berliner Philharmoniker under Pierre Boulez and Simon Rattle.
