Simone Oestreicher

Since April 2024, Simone Oestreicher has been working as lighting director at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden. Prior to this, she spent over six years as technical production manager for the LINDEN21 projects at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden’s secondary venues, where she realized projects by Philippe Quesne, Wouter van Looy, and Simon Steen-Andersen, among others. She also supported a Berlin children’s and youth theater school with the lighting design for their performances. Since 2017, she has lit various LINDEN21 projects and worked with artists such as Letitia Renzini (“Love you son of a bitch”), Swaantje Kleff (“The Adventures of Pinocchio”) and Georg Schüttky ( “Sehnsucht.Lohengrin”). Since the end of 2023, she has been supporting the RSB with lighting design for family and school concerts.
