Juri Tetzlaff - Presenter

Juri Tetzlaff was born on July 13, 1972, in Karlsruhe. His father is a cellist, and his mother is a singer. Alongside his studies in “Society and Business Communication” at the Berlin University of the Arts, he began his television career in 1994 as the host of the youth program “X-Base – Der Computer Future Club” on ZDF. In the same summer, he took over the presentation of the holiday programs on ARD and ZDF. In 1997, he became the founding presenter of the children’s channel KiKA and has since been a constant face of the channel.
He hosts live broadcasts, shows, informational formats, reports, and comedy, and showcased his acting talent in the “Beutolomäus Stories.” Currently, Juri Tetzlaff brings millions of children to bed every evening as the host of “KiKA Baumhaus” with the Sandman, leads the craft program “Mit-Mach-Mühle,” and works as a reporter for the media and film magazine “TRICKBOXX.” In addition to his work as a presenter, he produces his own TV segments with his company “dreamteam.media” and writes scripts for the “Tigerenten Club” (ARD) and the quiz show “1, 2 oder 3” (ZDF).
