The RSB is happy to open its doors to the curiosity of children and young people. We offer workshops, rehearsal visits and concerts for schools, for children and the whole family where they have the opportunity to learn more about the music and the instruments that make up a modern symphony orchestra.
Kids can test their own creativity when RSB musicians come to visit their school. The RSB pros not only talk about their work as musicians and explain how their instruments work, but also let students try their hand at making music themselves, thus giving them a playful introduction into the mysteries of playing in an orchestra. This can also be a great way to prepare children for a visit to an RSB rehearsal at the Haus des Rundfunks in the Berliner Masurenallee. We are also open to developing larger creative projects, which could focus on the area of improvisation or on different types of performance, for example.
If you’re interested, please get in touch with us. Together we can develop a project based on your needs and competencies and our possibilities that is individually suited to your school.
More information on some of the diverse projects that the RSB has undertaken in cooperation with schools throughout Brandenburg is presented in our Project Archive.
